A story of quality in search of perfection
ITAGRES is making history in the Brazilian ceramics sector.
The constant improvement in technology led the company to begin producing mono-porous ceramics in 1999, a market tendency. At the beginning of 2000, ITAGRES expanded its line of products once more with Gres Polido and Rectificado, in a constant search for client satisfaction. That same year the company introduced a new polishing and rectifying unit, which increased its capacity to produce pieces with a higher standard of finish, high sheen and other special finishes.
Lumière - In 2001 new products were added to the Lumière line, as the the gres polido products were baptized, conquering the national and international markets with their perfect finish, high sheen and design inspired by real marbles and granites.
Rústicos - Also in 2001 Itagres made another great launch, again aimed at the overseas market: The Rústica line. Following the design of natural stones this product matches in any room or ambient.
Porcellanato Romano - In 2002 the great Itagres launch, which once more counted on the company's excellent technical capacity, was Porcellanato Romano. This is the company's top line in this segment, reaching the national and international market with its rustic characteristics and the great advantage that it cannot be stained.
Mondo dei Fiori - In 2004, following tendencies from Feng Shui and seeking the calming effect of flowers, the Mondo dei Fiori line was launched for all rooms and any ambient -for people of good taste.
The technical and aesthetic qualities of its products helps Itagres export its ceramics to the largest and most demanding markets of the world, such as the United States, Europe, Latin America and Oceania. To maintain this productivity level the company constantly invests in the development of its 344 employees in search of collective and individual improvement.
